Dead Island 2 is real, it is actually a thing you’ll soon be able to play and the game’s details, box art and even some screenshots have leaked online. First off, the good news – Dead Island 2 is set to launch on 3 February 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. As previously reported, Dead Island 2 takes players across the City of Angels which is now, to our benefit, covered in zombies.

A deadly virus has spread across the world and Dead Island 2’s setting takes place across a number of locations in Los Angeles, California. This includes Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and more. The game consists of six playable characters each with their own unique personality, dialogue, skills and abilities. A new respec system allows players to instantly change skills on your build without having to create multiple of the same characters and the six characters allow for multiple playthroughs each with a unique focus on different builds.
