It’s been well over six years since the release of BioShock Infinite which was developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games. Now, we finally have confirmation that the publisher has opened a new studio, Cloud Chamber and they are working on a new BioShock game.

Cloud Chamber is, according to a press release by 2K Games, a “collective of storytellers” that are eager to push the frontlines of interactive entertainment. They aim to make unique, entertaining and thoughtful experiences that engage the world. Their first project is the new BioShock game but do not expect to see the game for a while, as it will be in development for the next several years.
Today, 2K announced the founding of Cloud Chamber, its newest development studio. This team of storytellers has begun work on the next iteration of the acclaimed @BioShock franchise, which will be in development for the next several years.

At the time of writing, there is no release date, title or even platforms for the new BioShock game.
David Ismailer, the President of 2K, talked about Cloud Chamber and their project, explaining that:
