A Plague Tale 3 has once again been teased through recent job listings at developer Asobo Studio. While A Plague Tale: Requiem seemed to wrap the story up pretty nicely, it looks like the studio might be going for a trilogy now, further hinting at a third installment in the series – specifically in job listings seeking out potential candidates to join its A Plague Tale team.
As reported by PlayStation LifeStyle, the job listings appear on both LinkedIn and Asobo Studio’s official website, seeking a VFX artist, senior game designer, senior A.I. programmer, and senior gameplay animator to join its Plague Tale team. Other listings also mention the Microsoft Flight Simulator team.

The description under the senior game designer states that the applicant is going to strengthen the team behind Requiem as it works in pre-production for a new project, implying that A Plague Tale 3 could still be in the very early stages of development. The listings also note that it would be great if applicants had already played the first two games or had some knowledge on the titles as well as showing an interest in developing action adventure games.
Despite these job listings, Asobo Studio hasn’t outright confirmed that it’s working on another Plague Tale game. However, the developer did state in a previous interview that it would first look at Requiem‘s reception and go from there, leaving the door open for potential future installments. A Plague Tale: Requiem launched in 2022 to critical acclaim and went on to be nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards. Safe to say, the reception has been pretty positive and that should be enough for Asobo Studio to consider a follow-up.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass.
