In an unsurprising turn of events, Activision is at it again trying to make some money off the innocent gamers that play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The publisher added a new range of reticles to the game which cost real money but the thing is, these reticles are exactly the same as the ones you get in the game for free but they have special names.

This is not the first time they have done this according to MP1ST.com as a few weeks ago they released a standard Single Dot sight and put a 100 COD Point price tag on it. Now, the marketplace has a new standard reticle called the “Cyclops” and guess what? It is the same as any other reticle in the game.

If anything, the free reticles you can equip in the game look more complex and detailed than the one you have to pay 100 COD Points for. You can purchase 200 COD Points for R32 which makes these so-called “special” reticles cost you R16 each.
It is completely up to you if you want to waste your money buying something that is already in the game but hey, it is your hard-earned cash or your parents’. I am sure we will soon see camos and other customization options duplicated in order to make another quick buy.
