The first trailer for Agatha All Along has dropped giving fans a look at the WandaVision spinoff starring Kathryn Hahn. Fans have been predicting what direction the show would go in after Disney announced it back in 2023. Those who guessed “horror” would have been correct.
Agatha All Along takes place after the events of WandaVision and follows Agatha Harkness who is now trapped in her own nightmare. While many believed Agatha would have been left in a nightmare sitcom, it seems the witch is in fact stuck in crime drama instead.
The witch has, of course, lost all of her powers and believes she is a detective hunting down a killer. Agatha seemingly meets another witch named Rio Vidal played by Aubrey Plaza and is encouraged to break free from the illusion. She’ll need the power of the entire coven to do so.
Agatha All Along is shaping up to be a much darker show than WandaVision but it seems fitting. Given the current state of the Marvel universe, this might be the show it needs. The trailer definitely reveals more witchcraft and fantasy going on than “Agatha trapped in her illusion”.
However, trailers could be deceiving. Agatha All Along is set to debut on 18 September. Check out the trailer below.
