Looking to get the new noise-cancelling Apple AirPods? Well, you are going to have to fork out some money for them. iStore revealed the Apple AirPods Pro South African pricing will be set at R3,999 which includes the AirPods Pro in the wireless charging case. The AirPods Pro will launch on 25 November 2019 which is the South African release date at the time of writing.
The new pods can be pre-ordered on the iStore from today for R3,999. The new earphones boast a range of new hardware changes including dual beamforming microphones, silicone ear tips, sweat and water resistance with an IPX4 rating and a new Transparency Mode that lets you hear your surroundings while you use the device.
The AirPods were announced two weeks ago after Apple posted the reveal on their site. No special event took place to showcase them, just a simple blog post. R3,999 is not too bad for these new earphones given the last generation pods with the charging case retails for R3,399.
