All Gaming Week Events 2025 – When and Where to Watch

The summer season of gaming events has finally kicked into high gear. Last night, PlayStation hosted a State of Play event that held exciting announcements like Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Nioh 3 and the release date for Silent Hill F, among many other reveals. However, that’s just the beginning of the festive seasonal showcases. Here are all the gaming week events that you can expect over the next few days as well as when and where to watch them.

In the middle of the summer gaming week, Nintendo decided to launch the Nintendo Switch 2 along with Mario Kart World. We’re doing extensive coverage on Nintendo’s new console so make sure you keep up-to-date with all the news and reviews right here.

As for when you can watch all the upcoming gaming events including Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase, the dates and times are as follows:

  • June 6: IO Interactive Showcase – 3AM SAST / 6PM PT
  • June 6: Summer Game Fest – 11PM SAST / 2PM PT
  • June 6: Day of the Devs – 1AM SAST / 4PM PT
  • June 7: Wholesome Direct – 6PM SAST / 9AM PT
  • June 7: Future Games Show – 10PM SAST / 1PM PT
  • June 8: Xbox Games Showcase – 7PM SAST / 10AM PT
  • June 8: PC Gaming Show – 9PM SAST / 12PM PT

While most events seem to be at decent time zones for South Africans, the IO Interactive Showcase, which is set to unveil more information about 007 First Light, will only take place at 3AM on 7 June the following morning. Thankfully, the bigger events like Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase aren’t too late.
