With the holiday season fast approaching in South Africa, it’s the period of festivities, spending quality time with family and occasionally going out to the movies to watch the latest blockbusters or catch some throwbacks. This December, movie-goers can look forward to everything except Nosferatu, as our biggest cinema chains don’t appear to be showing the most anticipated horror movie of the year. A true tragedy. Pushpa 2 (Hindi/Tamil) (Action, Drama / TBC) – 6 December
Pushpa 2: The Rule is the highly-anticipated sequel to 2021’s Pushpa: The Rise, which follows a laborer who rises through the ranks of a red sandalwood smuggling syndicate and makes some powerful enemies in the process.
