Comic Con Cape Town is set to take place this April and fans can look forward to plenty of activities and meet creatives in various fields of entertainment. That said, fans will be able to meet some truly talented local and international artists. This year, the event will host a number of award-winning talents all showcasing their work. Here are all the artists announced to attend Comic Con Cape Town so far.
First up is Ian Churchill, a UK-based professional comic creator that has been in the industry over the last 30 years and worked extensively with some of the biggest publishers in the comic book world, including DC and Marvel. Some of his works include Cable, Deadpool, The Uncanny X-Men, The Avengers, The Hulk, Superman, Batman, Supergirl, The Justice League, Teen Titans, Wonder Woman and many more.

American comic book artist Mark Brooks will also be attending the show. Brooks has been nominated for plenty of prestigious awards including winning August 2014’s Inkpot Award. His work includes Ultimate Spider-man, Deadpool, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Avengers: The Initiative and more.
Hailing from Cape Town, local artist Karl Mostert has had his work featured in internationally released comic books and series including Batman: Urban Legends, Detective Comics, DCeased Unkillables and more. Mostert will be attending Comic Con Cape Town for all four days.
Finally, Nommo Award nominated comic book and writer Bill Masuku will be in attendance. Hailing from Zimbabwe, his works most notably include the creation of Captain South Africa and many other titles.

Comic Con Cape Town will run from 27 to 30 April 2023 at CTICC 2. Tickets are already available to order via Howler.
