First, there was Lara Croft and now there’s Aloy. Epic Games has announced that the latest member of the Fortnite Gaming Legends series is none other than Horizon Zero Dawn star, Aloy. Not only will the free-to-play game receive a bunch of Horizon Zero Dawn cosmetics but the content also marks the arrival of the Aloy Cup and the Limited Time Mode “Team Up! Aloy and Lara.”
Starting from 15 April 2021, players can purchase the Aloy cosmetic pack that includes a unique Blaze Canister Back Bling, a Glinthawk Glider and Aloy’s Spear Pickaxe. There’s also a Heart-rizon Emote, Focus Effect and special weapon and vehicle wraps inspired by the giant machines players face in the game.

Sony claims that players can purchase each item individually but can also purchase the bundle that contains everything mentioned above. If they do buy the bundle, players will then receive the Aloy the Skywatcher Loading Screen as an added bonus. PlayStation 5 owners who purchase the Aloy Outift will also unlock the Ice Hunter Aloy Style based on the Banuk Ice Hunter outfit from the main game.
The Horizon Zero Dawn Aloy cosmetics are just one part of this Fortnite event. The other comes from the Aloy Cup. This Duos tournament takes place from 14 April and the top-performing teams will unlock the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle before it arrives at the store.
In the Aloy Cup, you and your Duos partner will compete to be the last team standing, but the twist is that you’ll get bonus points for eliminations with a bow. Players are able to compete in 10 matches in their region’s three-hour time window, and the specific timing for each region can be found in the Compete tab in-game. Team Up! Aloy & Lara will run from 6AM PT / 9 AM ET on April 16 to 6AM PT / 9 AM ET on April 18.
