Amazon has renewed Secret Level for Season 2 on its Prime Video service. The first part of season one is now currently available to stream and includes eight episodes. Amazon just recently released the second part of season one.
Right now, Secret Level reception has been mixed. Some fans have enjoyed the beauty of the CG worlds and the stories tied to the popular video game franchises. Some fans have complained that the show’s episodes are very short, with some of them spanning only 7 minutes. Many of these episodes end before they get good, leaving fans wanting more.
At the moment, the upcoming second half of season one is a mystery. The video game worlds that are covered in the upcoming episodes are being kept under wraps as a surprise to fans. So we won’t share the settings here.
Amazon says Secret Level has achieved record numbers so far despite only limited episodes being available. The series is the most-watched animated series debut of all time. However, Amazon didn’t share exactly how “most-watched” the show is. The company also didn’t provide any other show to compare it to.
Reports claim that Secret Level has racked up 155.3 million minutes of view time in the United States, which equals around 1.4 million views.
Season one includes various cast members across the wide range of worlds and stories. Cast members include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, Heaven Hart, Emily Swallow, Gabriel Luna, Ricky Whittle, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Clive Standen, Laura Bailey, and Michael Beach. Along with “Pac-Man” and “Dungeons & Dragons,” featured video games include “Sifu,” “New World,” “Unreal Tournament,” “Warhammer 40,000,” “Crossfire,” “Armored Core,” “The Outer Worlds,” “Mega Man,” “Exodus,” “Spelunky,” “Concord,” “Honor of Kings,” and “Playtime.”
