With the South African lockdown in full swing amid the COVID-19 pandemic a new initiative called “Bring Back Sports” aims to entertain gamers and non-gamers alike in an attempt to raise money for charity. The online tournaments will act as a great digital escape away from the world for a bit while giving back to the community.

Bring Back Sports will feature tournaments for FIFA 20 and PUBG which will run over the next two weekends in April, May and June. The tournaments are also open to everyone so anyone can join and enjoy some good old competitive gaming.
FIFA 20 and PUBG have both been chosen thanks to their easy pick-up-and-play nature making them accessible to more people. PUBG is also available on mobile which allows more people to sign up and take part in the tournaments. It may just unlock some secret skills you never knew you had until now.
How to Get Involved?
Entrance into these tournaments will act as a donation towards the Solidarity Fund set up by the South African government so your money will be going to a good place. Over the next few weeks, the public will be able to participate in the Bring Back Sports tournaments to help support others and also stand a chance of winning some prizes throughout the different rankings in each of them.
Details such as how to sign up and matches times and dates will be released early next week so keep your eyes open if you are interested in getting involved.
In the meantime, be sure to follow the organizer’s on social media to stay up to date with the happenings of the tournament.
