Annoying Apex Legends Crash Finally Fixed With Latest GeForce Drivers

Apex Legends released just over a month ago on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For those who have been living under a rock, the game has been an immense success for Respawn Entertainment and EA. The game is absolutely massive with over 50 million players already. With so many players, especially when it comes to PC gaming, there are bound to be some technical issues. One such issue is an Apex Legends crash error, which many PC gamers using GeForce GPUs have been experiencing. Thankfully, an easy fix for the error has now been released.

Even though I haven’t personally run into the Apex Legends crash error, a couple of my friends complained that when they tried to launch the game, it just crashed. The Apex Legends crash reportedly shows this error: “DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG” (which isn’t exclusive to Apex Legends by any means) and can be very annoying, with no easy fix, until now.

So if you are the victim of the annoying Apex Legends crash issue, all you need to do is download the latest, recently released GeForce drivers (419.35) and you will be good to go. You can grab them on NVIDIA’s official drivers’ page right now, or update via the GeForce Experience app on your desktop.

For those who haven’t had issues with the game, it is still good to update to the latest drivers, as the drivers are the “Game Ready” version for Apex Legends, Devil May Cry 5 and The Division 2, providing the “optimal gaming experience” for these titles.
