Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Teaser Trailer Released

Marvel Studios has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming MCU superhero film, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The anticipated third film in the Ant-Man series will reunite Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Pym, but this time bringing the element of surprise with Jonathan Majors reprising his role as Kang the Conqueror first introduced in the Disney+ series, Loki.

The teaser trailer offers fans a glimpse into the plot of the next film. Lang and Pym, along with a few returning characters, find themselves trapped in the Quantum Realm where they come across an entire civilisation. While they struggle to escape the Quantum Realm, they’re greeted by a familiar face in Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, who will likely play an important part in the coming MCU phases as the overarching main villain (similar to Thanos).

So far, Marvel Studios has dabbled in the multiverse, a concept that appears to be more prominent in recent tentpole releases like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s unclear how Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will utilise the multiverse, but we predict that the Quantum Realm might be capable of more than we know as we first explored in Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel’s Ant-Man films have so far encompassed 2015’s Ant-Man and 2018’s Ant-Man and The Wasp. The first film is described as:

“Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.”

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania releases exclusively in cinemas on 17 February 2023. Check out the brand new trailer below.
