The Anthem anticipation is building, with the new game from BioWare and EA releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC very soon. Early access to the game opens up on 15 February and the game officially launches on 22 February 2019.
Anthem will also be available on the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X. If you’re keen on getting the best performance out of Anthem then you might want to know which console delivers the best experience. New video tests have shown that the Anthem console performance on PS4 Pro beats the Xbox One X.
Digital Foundry took the open demo weekend as an opportunity to test out the game for different consoles, to determine which console runs it the best. The tests covered four consoles – PS4, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.
From all the tests that were run during the open beta weekend, it was found that the PS4 Pro version of Anthem runs the best. The reason for coming to this conclusion is the fact that, in performance mode, the game managed to hit 40 to 50 frames per second on the PS4 Pro. The Xbox One X version of the game hit a max of 30 frames per second. The fact that there are no mode options for the Xbox One X version of the game might change when the game launches later this week for early access, which could possibly boost up the frame rates per second, but we will have to wait and see. Take a look at tests run to get you hyped up.

It could be possible that some options weren’t available during the demo and have been added to be available during launch, but for now, it seems that Anthem will run the best on a PS4 Pro X if you’re keen to take full advantage of this upcoming game.
On which console will you be playing Anthem?
