Anthem, the highly anticipated new game from BioWare and EA is so close to release, we can smell it. A new Anthem launch trailer has been released, which just adds to the anticipation.

The new Anthem launch trailer shows off some exciting details about the game. You’re given a good look at all four Javelins – Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor, and Storm, which will be playable on launch. The trailer shows off some epic battles, in which each of the Javelins’ abilities are showcased. The environments look beautiful and adventurous, too. Behold the awesome launch trailer for yourself.

To help you prepare for launch day, you can take a look below at some early access details for those of you who can’t wait anymore, as well as everything else you need to know to be ready to play Anthem when it launches on 22 February 2019.

Early Access

If you just can’t wait any longer, you can get early access to Anthem. If you become an EA Access or Origin Access Premier subscriber, you will get early access 7 days before the official Anthem launch date on Xbox One (10-hour trail) and PC (full game), starting on 15 February 2019.

Pricing

Anthem will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

If you’re planning on purchasing the game, then you’re going to be looking at the following prices for the Standard Edition:

• R999.99 through Xbox Live; or R899.10 if you’re an EA Access subscriber;
•  R949.99 through Origin;
• R999 through the PlayStation Store.

You get the following pre-order bonuses:

• VIP access to pre-launch demos (these have happened already);
• Founders Player Banner (a banner marking you as one of the founding players of Anthem); and
• Legion of Dawn Legendary Ranger Armor Pack & Weapon.

If you pre-order the Legion of Dawn special edition of Anthem, you’ll receive the full set of Legion of Dawn Armor Packs, Ranger Javelin Exosuit Legendary Gear Attachment, and Anthem digital soundtrack, which will set you back:

• R1 149.99 through Origin;
• R1 199.99 through Xbox Live; or R1 079.10 if you’re an EA Access subscriber; and
• R1 199.99 through the PlayStation Store.

Beyond the game’s launch, there is already a pretty full schedule for post-launch Anthem content. EA has high hopes for Anthem, aiming to sell 6 million copies of the game in 6 weeks.
