We are all pretty excited for BioWare’s Anthem which releases on 25 February and there’s also some pre-order and EA Access demos coming up later this month. The game will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. For those who play on PC, there’s one thing that they really need to know well ahead of release to ensure a great gameplay experience and that is if their PC is up to the task of running the game. EA has now announced the Anthem PC system requirements, listing both the minimum and recommended specs.

The Anthem system requirements don’t look too bad at all and you definitely don’t need something as high-tech as a Javelin suit to run the game. The system requirements are in line with games created using the new Frostbite engine and the minimum requirements are nearly the same as that of the closed alpha test requirements.
EA revealed the official Anthem system requirements, which are:
Anthem Minimum System Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
- RAM: 8 GB System Memory
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
- GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
- HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
- DIRECTX: DirectX 11
Anthem Recommended System Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB System Memory
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060/ RTX 2060, AMD RX 480
- GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
- HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
- DIRECTX: DirectX 11
Everyone with a decent gaming PC should at least be able to run the game and the recommended doesn’t look too bad either if you have a gaming PC built in the last 2 or 3 years.
