Reed Exhibitions Africa and ReedPOP today announced that Marvel star, Anthony Mackie who plays The Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been added to the list of guests attending Comic Con Africa this year.

Anthony Mackie, who pulled out of last year’s Comic Con Africa due to Hurricane Florence, will hopefully make it to this year’s convention, weather permitting.

Mackie will, however, not be available the whole duration of Comic Con Africa. He will be at the convention on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September 2019. Reed announced that tickets are now available for Comic Con Africa and those wishing to meet Mackie can purchase his add-on tickets for photographs and autographs in the coming weeks.

Mackie’s famous for his roles in not only the MCU but also in HBO’s “All The Way” as Martin Luther King Jr. and Oscar-winning films including The Hurt Locker and Million Dollar Baby. Mackie will also be starring in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Altered Carbon that will air in 2020

Comic Con Africa is taking place from 21 – 24 September 2019 at the Gallagher Convention Center in Johannesburg. Tickets start at R160 per day with a weekend pass selling from R500.

GLITCHED was created by taking everything we love and putting into one place. It contains a little something for everyone be it your favourite comic book, what to binge on Netflix this weekend, or your annual first-person shooter. The idea that one can love all the cool things is not hard to comprehend, you just need to find a place for it. That place is GLITCHED..
