New Apex Legends Character

Apex Legends Battle Pass & New Legend Reportedly Coming Very Soon

Apex Legends is growing by the day and with over 50 million players already, the game shows no signs of slowing down. If developer Respawn wants to keep up with and even surpass their biggest competitor, Fortnite, then a great way to do this is by pushing out more content and updates for the game. Well, it looks like that is what Respawn is doing, as the Apex Legends Battle Pass and the new Legend, Octane, might be arriving very soon.

As you can see from the link above, Respawn already detailed the Year 1 roadmap and Apex Legends Battle Pass back in February, noting that it should drop in March. There has also been a tonne of leaks and blurry images featuring Octane, the next Apex Legends character.

Now, an inside source for Daily Esports has claimed in an interview that Octane is not only real, but the source also provided a release date of 12 March for the Apex Legends Battle Pass. Sure, these types of anonymous sources give one pause, but the source also provided a real first look at the original artwork file for Octane, which you can view below.

Further, the source adds that “The Battle pass will not be purchasable with coins, and will be a static item in the shop” and that Octane “should be released either alongside the Battle Pass or just before it.” as Octane is a promotional figure for the Apex Legends Battle Pass.

At the time of writing, there is still a lot we don’t know about the Apex Legends Battle Pass. Importantly, there isn’t a price for it yet, nor do we know what the content will be, or how long it will last. One thing we can assume is that Octane will come with the Apex Legends Battle Pass.
