EA and Respawn Entertainment are releasing the native PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Apex Legends today. The game version will arrive alongside the Apex Legends Warriors Collection event and bring enhancements to the shooter that take advantage of the new console hardware.
These enhancements include 4K 60Hz, HDR and more. However, Respawn Entertainment is working on even more future enhancements for Apex Legends that will further increase the game’s fidelity. Some features won’t arrive until further notice.

At the launch today, the game will include the following new visual features.

Keep in mind that this PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Apex Legends is a separate game and not simply an update for the current game. On PS5, you’ll need to redownload the whole game again by finding Apex Legends in the store. On Xbox Series X/S, the Smart Delivery will automatically update the game when it releases later today.

The Apex Legends Warriors Collection event is also an exciting new update for the game. There are new maps coming to the shooter as well as the Control game mode.
