Apex Legends is just a month old and it is already boasting a crazy player base. The game hit 2.5 million within its first day on the market, 25 million within a week and now Respawn Entertainment is boasting a whopping 50 million players.
If we compare the stats to its sister, Fortnite, the game took a few months to hit the 45 million player mark and today boasts around 125 million players since its September 2017 release. Keep in mind that the game is on mobile too which is a massive factor to consider when looking at where the player numbers come from.

Fortnite is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, Android and Switch, while Apex Legends is on PS4, Xbox One and PC. PUBG, another huge Battle Royale title has had over 400 million players throughout its lifespan thus far.
The numbers make it quite clear that everyone is living for the Battle Royale experience with the three big giants now being Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends. All of them sitting with millions of players.
Apex Legends will no doubt draw a load of new people into the fold this month as the first seasonal event is around the corner. New Legends, weapons and cosmetic items will be available to purchase and unlock and we are sure the hunt for the kill and the reward for winning will be worth it all.
Keeping the experience ever-changing and fresh is a massive contributor to the success of Fortnite and if Apex Legends follows through, it will guarantee it flourishes too.
