Apex Legends Nintendo Switch Leaving Early

Apex Legends PS5 Update Coming Very Soon

Apex Legends is one of the biggest free-to-play shooters around. This month the game is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a brand new season of content as well as a new character, mode and more. However, as popular as the game is, we have yet to get an update for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Seems that is about to change. According to Eurogamer, EA and Respawn are prepping to announce an Apex Legends PS5 and Xbox Series X/S enhanced version very soon.

During a media presentation watched by the publication, a spokesperson for EA claims that a native version of Apex Legends will emerge “very, very shortly”.

While I want to share more information with you, that is all we have on this matter. The studio didn’t share any other details about the game at all but at least confirmed it is happening. You would think EA would have rolled out this native PS5 version of Apex Legends with the latest update but sadly that isn’t the case.

It is also not the first time we have heard of this PS5 version of Apex Legends. A few years back, Sony listed the game on its PlayStation Network database. Previously, an EA employer also posted about the native version of the game during a special job opening.

If EA Games says it is coming “very, very soon” then hopefully we will hear more about the game shortly.
