Apex Legends Season 4 is titled Assimilation and marks the game’s first year anniversary. Users will be able to obtain free login gifts including gun charms and specific badges depending on how long you have been playing the game for. Not much is known about the new Legend Forge other than an image of him revealed on the blog. He looks like a half-man, half-robot wrestler and even wears what looks like a championship belt.
Respawn has not revealed his skills yet only stating that “Forge uses his size, strength, and heavy-duty Shatter Gauntlets to batter his opponents into submission”. The new weapon “Sentinel” is a bolt-action sniper rifle said to cut through enemies’ armour before they even spot you. The gun packs a charge mechanic allowing wielders to hold down the trigger for a stronger attack.
The Apex Legends Season 4 will kick off on 4 February 2020 and we will find out more about the features and changes coming to the game closer to launch. The new Legend “Forge” will also get a full reveal before launch with a trailer and hero showcase. In the meantime, we just have to go off what we know which is next to nothing.
