Apple 2024 App Store Award Winners Announced

Apple has announced its 2024 App Store Award winners. The annual awards are given out to apps across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Vision Pro. They include the best of the best apps you can download across these platforms, and of course, the winners usually include some pretty impressive apps.

This year, Apple has awarded Kino with the iPhone App of the Year Award. This app was released earlier this year and offers users a painless filming experience on their iPhone. The app is created by Lux Optics, the same team behind the popular Halide photography app. So it was a no-brainer that this video app would follow in Halide’s footsteps and deliver an exceptional experience.

The iPad App of the Year has been given to Moises. This is an AI-driven musical app that detects various tunes and vocals in a track and isolates them depending on the selection. It is essentially for music makers and vocalists.

Abode Lightroom won the Mac App of the Year thanks to its powerful photo editing capabilities. Lightroom got updated with a substantial AI focus this year, and these features are impressive.

What If…? An Immersive Story has been awarded the Apple Vision Pro App of the Year. This is a mixed reality app that follows the popular Disney+ series. Players can engage with the chapters and feel immersed in the story while using hand gestures to interact with their surroundings.

Lumy has won the Apple Watch App of the Year. The app is a weather, golden hour, star watching, and moon phase tracking app. While it is available on other Apple devices, the Apple Watch features have been a standout.

There are other winners across various categories, including the best iPhone, iPad, and Mac game. Here is the full list of every app that walked away with awards this year.
