Apple has completely revised its AirPods lineup with new options across the range. The base AirPods have been redesigned and come in a smaller case, new AirPods Max are coming our way with USB support and the new AirPods Pro 2 come with some new health features. All new AirPods launch on 20 September.
AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 With ANC
Apple is releasing two models of the AirPods 4. There’s a standard model and a model that features Active Noise Cancellation. Both products include new acoustic architecture, USB-C and wireless charging, force sensor, voice isolation and a speaker case. However, the ANC model also comes with Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency. They are priced at $129 and $179 respectively.
AirPods Max 2
The AirPods Max haven’t been changed much. The headphones come in new colours and feature USB-C charging. Apple didn’t detail any other enhancements such as sound improvements or battery life. They are expected to launch on 20 September and retail from $549.
AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 include new acoustic architecture and a range of health features. The earphones can be used as hearing aids thanks to its new microphones and transparency mode. You can also do a hearing test on them and personalize your hearing profile.
