WWDC 2025

Apple Dates WWDC 2025 For June

Apple has dated its annual WWDC conference, which usually takes place in June. Like previous years, WWDC will kick off on 9 June and run up until the 13th. The company will host a WWDC 2025 keynote presentation before the conference begins, which will unveil all the major software changes coming to the Apple ecosystem in the year ahead.

The announcements will focus on upcoming versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. According to recent reports, Apple is gearing up to debut a major overhaul to its software this year with drastic visual changes to iOS, especially.

We might also see some new hardware announced during WWDC 2025, including the rumoured Apple smart home system, which is expected to be powered by a whole new platform called homeOS. We are hoping that Apple addresses the elephant in the room – Siri’s controversial AI-powered features, which were announced at WWDC 2024 and delayed to 2026.

Apple used last year’s showcase to debut the Apple Intelligence platform and announce a plethora of new AI tools for very specific devices. However, the majority of the tools have yet to see the light of day, even though the company marketed them for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 lineup, which is already a few months old.

Apple recently delayed the software features which will allow Siri to see your screen and perform actions based on what is being displayed. The new features include a highly integrated version of Siri that understands your apps, personal context, and tasks. Apple spokesperson recently stated that these tools would take “longer than they thought to deliver” and they would roll them out in the year ahead. Reports claim that the Siri team are frustrated over the situation.

Given the recent delay, it is highly unlikely that Apple will include these features in iOS 19, which is expected to debut at WWDC 2025. However, the company will likely highlight its objectives strategy for AI during the show.

We’ll share the full details ow WWDC 2025 closer to the time, including when and where you can watch the keynote.
