For everything you can expect at today’s event, check out our guide. In other news, Apple will also be releasing iOS 12.1 tomorrow. It is the first update since iOS 12 released in September and will see a range of new features arrive across iOS devices.

First off is the Group FaceTime. This feature was originally scrapped for iOS 12 as it needed more work but Apple seems to think it is ready. It will allow you to FaceTime with up to 32 people at the same time on one screen and support stickers, video filters and your Animoji and Memoji.

iOS 12.1 will also bring with it dual-SIM support for the iPhone XR and XS unlocking the eSIM functionality while allowing users to use a physical sim at the same time.

If you are an Emoji addict then iOS 12.1 is for you. Apple has added over 70 new Emojis to the system update that includes new characters with “red, grey and curly hair” as well as a bald Emoji. There are also some new food Emojis and even a designed bagel that now has cream cheese on it instead of it being plain.

Apple will also tackle the whole “beautygate” situation where iPhone XR and XS owners complained that front-facing camera selfies showed user’s skin to be polished and almost airbrushed as if it automatically smoothed your skin. This was indeed a bug and Apple will fix it in iOS 12.1. iPhone XR/XS owners will also be able to adjust the depth of field in portrait shots in iOS 12.1.

The update should be live sometime tomorrow and come in at just over 2.2GB. We will also share any breaking news from the Apple event later today as we see what Apple has to announce.
