The Apple iPhone 2020 leaks are in full swing and they are quite interesting indeed. We heard a while back that the iPhone 12 or iPhone 11S range might feature a new “box design” similar to the iPhone 4 but it seems that is no longer the case. Macotakara, a trusted industry insider claims that the iPhone 2020 models will actually have the same housing as the 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max with the camera technology seeing a slight improvement.

The report claims that the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 model will have a new height that is “midway between the SE and iPhone 8”. The 6.1-inch version will be increased to be bigger than the 11 but not as tall as the 11 Pro Max. The 6.7-inch will be slightly taller than the iPhone 11 Pro Max Macotakara claims.
The big change will be in the device’s thickness which will go down from 8.1mm to 7.4mm which is notably thinner than last year’s devices. The increased height will make room for the device to be thinner it seems.
The big change on the iPhone 12 or 11S range will be the new Time-of-Flight 3D camera added to the “Pro” models. The designs will stay pretty much the same as in typical Apple fashion to only revise the design every two years.
We are still a while away from the reveal of these new devices. Apple usually hosts the keynote in September. However, rumours do point to a March 2020 Apple event where the company will announce a new range of iPad Pro models and a new iPhone 9 which is said to have the same design as the 8 with Touch ID and a Home Button. We will keep you updated on that when we hear more.
