Sony says that Apple Music on the PS5 is easy to set up and link to your Apple ID. It will carry over all existing subscriptions. However, unlike Apple TV+ that offered a 6-month trial, there’s no freebie trial for Apple Music on the PS5. Unless you are a brand new subscriber on the platform.
As for the 4K music video playback, Sony says that users can watch these music videos in full screen and in the background while they play games. Apple Music subscribers can also find and watch music videos from a wide selection of artists in the Apple Music app. Start by playing the video in full screen; if you decide you want to go back to your gameplay or navigate elsewhere on the PS5’s home screen, the audio from the music video will continue to play.
