New Mail Toolbar

The mail app has been updated with a new toolbar design. The reply icon has been moved away from the delete which should prevent previous accidental deleting of mails instead of replying to them.

iCloud Folder Sharing

Users can now share folders in iCloud on iOS 13.4. This will allow people you invite to access the files inside folders you have on your iCloud drive. This feature was previously removed from beta testing in the last phase.

New Memoji Stickers

Apple has released new Memoji Stickers in iOS 13.4 including a shocked face, face with hearts, celebrations, eyes rolling and more.

Universal macOS/iOS/tvOS Purchases

A new feature in iOS 13.4 will allow developers to bundle iOS Apps, tvOS Apps, and macOS apps together into a single purchase. This means when users buy an app, it will be accessible as a single price tag across devices with a discount being offered on the device you did not purchase it on.

Other New iOS 13.4 Features

  • CarPlay allows new call controls and third-party navigation controls in CarPlay
  • New CarKey API is been designed to allow vehicles with NFC capabilities to be unlocked with your iPhone or Apple Watch when held nearby.
  • Users can share their CarKey with other family members to allow them to unlock their car with their supported iOS devices.
  • Shazam Shortcut has been added allowing users to add “Shazam It” to the Shortcuts App.
  • iPadOS Key remapping allows users to remap hardware keys on any attached keyboard on the iPad.

Users can sign up for the beta if they wish to by heading to the Apple Beta Software Program site.
