Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon From Software Key Art Leaked

Armored Core VI Release Date Set for August – Report

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the upcoming action game from Elden Ring developer From Software, may have just had its release date leaked. According to a new report, the highly anticipated new entry in the long-running Armored Core franchise will launch on 25 August 2023 for consoles and PC which is a lot closer than most fans predicted.

As reported by Insider Gaming, Armored Core VI will apparently release on 25 August this year. The game was originally unveiled at The Game Awards last year – the same show which saw Elden Ring win several awards of the evening including Game of the Year. The release date news comes in light of the game being rated in Korea as well as reports about a new trailer possibly arriving on 28 April, which is later this week.

Sources close to Insider Gaming also claimed that Armored Core VI will receive more information much sooner than its speculated appearance at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest which is set to take place on 8 June. This gives some validity to the Chinese leaker that recently teased a new trailer for the game will be released this Friday.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is the next mainline entry in From Software’s mech-focused action series, Armored Core. Despite disappearing from the spotlight over the past decade as the acclaimed developer doubled down on its Soulslike games, it looks like the franchise is set to make a spectacular return. With From Software having a larger reputation in the gaming industry now, Armored Core VI will also be the gateway for many newcomers just getting into the franchise.

As with all rumours, take this with a pinch of salt until From Software or publisher Bandai Namco confirm the news. If it’s true, then we won’t have to wait too long to see more of the game.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is currently in development for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
