Prepare for an Assassin’s Creed 2020 “Kingdom” announcement today. Well, according to rumours anyway. The next Assassin’s Creed game codenamed “Kingdom” will see an announcement later today according to numerous rumours. However, for now, take this with a pinch of salt.
UPDATE: Ubisoft China is teasing an announcement for 8 PM China. That is 14:00 SAT. Stay tuned for a possible Assassin’s Creed 2020 reveal.

Well-sourced industry insider Shinobi has yet again teased the announcement. This time on Resetera. Shinobi replied to a question from a user asking about the game’s reveal taking place today. He simply replied, “yes”. Last week, he told another Twitter user it would happen “soon” when asked about the game’s reveal. Another Ubisoft developer also chimed in saying “just wait”.
Assassin’s Creed 2020 or “Kingdom” seems to be 2020’s worst-kept secret at this stage. We know Ubisoft has been working on it for some time now. However, we don’t know exactly what the plan is for the game. Rumours claim the game will launch alongside the upcoming next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X. Many claim the game will launch across both generations of consoles. Rumours of the game’s Viking setting have been circling for over a year already with leaked novels hinting at keywords such as “Ragnarok, Valhalla, and Viking”.
If the Assassin’s Creed 2020 announcement does happen today, expect it much later in the day. We will share everything we can if this is all true.
