Assassin’s Creed Mirage Artwork and DLC Quest Leaked

Recently, reports surfaced claiming that the next Assassin’s Creed project by Ubisoft would officially be titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage and will take place in Baghdad. This aligned with previous reports by Bloomberg. Now, a new image has leaked online showing what is likely to be the official artwork for the unannounced title as well as a potential DLC quest.

The recently leaked information was later corroborated by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier who originally broke the news, though did state that some information provided in the leak wasn’t entirely correct. It’s unknown how the leaker, a YouTuber named j0nathan, managed to acquire the information in the first place, though might be close to the game’s development.

The leaks also arrive ahead of a planned Assassin’s Creed event happening this September. Here, Ubisoft will unveil the future of the Assassin’s Creed series, with some reports indicating that we’ll here more about its planned live-service game, Assassin’s Creed Infinity. So far, rumours point to the setting being in Feudal Japan where players will take on the role of a ninja.

The image appears to be authentic and it wouldn’t be far-fetched for Ubisoft to offer a separate DLC quest so soon, perhaps as a pre-order incentive alongside the game. It won’t be long before we find out if the leaks prove to be true.
