Ubisoft has officially announced the rumoured next Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla expansion DLC. Called “Dawn of Ragnarok” the content is set to release on 10 March 2022 and bring with it over 40 hours of adventure time, new quests to take on, skills, magical areas to explore and fantasy beasts to slay, If anything, Dawn of Ragnarok is Valhalla’s answer to Odyssey’s Atlantis and Origin’s The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC.
In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarok players take on the role of Odin as they enter the mythological Norse realm. Odin is in search of his missing son, Baldur who has been kidnapped and locked away by the immortal fire giant Surtr.

At the same time, the Norse realms have now been invaded by armies of fire and frost which has sparked war across the nine realms. Odin finds himself stuck in the middle of this war while at the same time trying to earn favour with the protectors of the realm so that they may help him on his quest.
Seen as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarok is fantasy based, players will now be able to wield all sorts of new abilities. Odin can imbue his attacks with fire and ice to help take down the deadly monsters across the realm. He can also shapeshift into an eagle and transform back into a man right before pouncing on an unsuspecting victim below. Odin can also teleport into the distance using a bow that he uses to shoot where he wants to appear.
There’s still very little we know about Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarok at the moment. We do know it is releasing on 10 March 2022 for all current platforms that support Valhalla. Check out the full reveal trailer below.
