This may come as no surprise to you but Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set during the Viking era. As such, the game’s lore and the content will span great battles and feature historic people from the age. One of these popular characters is none other than Beowulf. You may remember him from that movie where he has the naked fight in the hall. According to the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC details, players will get to uncover the legend of Beowulf in the game’s DLC.

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Beowulf DLC will arrive as part of the game’s Season Pass. Yes, this is a Ubisoft game so expect them to suck you dry with DLC and time-saver microtransactions. The listing does not go into great detail about the DLC as it simple states;
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#ED1706″ class=”” size=”21″]“New Story Mission. The Legend of Beowulf. Discover the cruel truth behind the legend”[/perfectpullquote]
Keep in mind that this listing was only found on the German Uplay store. In addition, the English store describes the DLC as an “immersive story mission” with no mention of Beowulf at all.
While not confirmed, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Beowulf DLC makes complete sense. The character fits the Viking era as he was around during the 6th century. He comes to the aid of the king Hrothgar to help fight off a monster known as Grendel. Ubisoft also released a Beowulf video game back in 2007 based on the film.
Should this be true, it will be a great fit for the upcoming Viking-based RPG. Hopefully, the developer will showcase more of the game at its July 16 Ubisoft Forever digital event. The game is currently in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
