Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Screenshots Give us a Glimpse at Next-Gen Gaming

Today Ubisoft showcased the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series. Along with the cinematic trailer, Ubisoft released some gorgeous screenshots of the game. Could this be our first look at a next-gen game? Sure as hell could be. According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release on PS4, Xbox One, PC and next-gen PS5, and Xbox Series X later this year. Furthermore, the game’s screenshots are from in-game.

Up to now, it has been hard to visualize just what next-gen will look like. Sure, Sony and Microsoft talk big about the advances their consoles have made, but we have not seen any gameplay. While the game is also releasing on current-gen, the screenshots are superb. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come as we await Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PS4, Xbox One, PC and next-gen PS5, and Xbox Series X later this year.
