Te update file size varies across different platforms. However, users can expect to download the patch file of between 2.4GB for PlayStation and 6.3GB for Xbox. The biggest addition in this update is the timed-event called “The Yule Festival”. Ubisoft says the event will bring several activities for players to enjoy. Limited-timed rewards will be available to obtain during the event too. Players can start The Yule Festival by visiting the revellers just east of their current settlement.
Ubisoft plans on sharing a full breakdown of The Yule Festival later today. In the meantime, the publisher did share a long list of patch notes for the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla update 1.1.0. This includes balance tweaks to NPCs, world bosses and fixing stats across a range of items. Ubisoft says the patch also improves performance so we hope they fix the mess they made on PS5 and Xbox Series X with the last update. If anything, performance on the PS5 dropped after the last update.
You can read the full changelog here (it is long) and prepare for the update to arrive later today.
