The awesome CS: GO StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 came to an end yesterday and it was a must-watch for any CS: GO esports fans, not only because of the intense matches that took place in the Champions Stage but also because CS: GO esports history was made by none-other than Astralis.

In the Champions Stage of the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, Astralis first took down Team Liquid with relative ease before smacking down NRG Esports and then, reaching the finals to face off against Avangar. There was a lot at stake with the winner of the tournament receiving $500,000 in prize money and Astralis didn’t disappoint.
The first game was played on Inferno and Astralis ran away with a massive lead in the first half playing as Terrorists, then finished up Inferno with a score of 16-3. Avangar then picked Dust II, but Astralis got off to a great start winning the pistol round and moving on to secure a 2-0 victory with the score on Dust II at 16-5.
With the win, Astralis made esports history, winning three CS: GO Major’s back-to-back and becoming the only team ever to win four Majors in total.
