The nominees for the Game Developer’s Choice Awards (GDC) have been revealed and it seems like Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong lead the charge with the most nominations. Five games across nine categories made the cut, with developers also mentioning additional honourable mentions that would’ve received nominations too had it not been such a competitive year for gaming.
Similar to the DICE awards, the Game Developer’s Choice Awards is an opportunity for industry developers to recognise the works of their peers and celebrate the best that gaming has to offer throughout each year. Last year, Astro Bot took home the coveted Game of the Year award at The Game Awards. It’s also in the lead at the GDC awards alongside Black Myth: Wukong, a fan-favourite among the gaming community.
