Astro Bot fans are speculating that franchises like Stellar Blade, Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, Rise of the Ronin and more could be included in the game’s planned post-launch updates. An image surfaced of the credits for the game which mentions a handful of games and properties that weren’t actually featured in the latest PS5 platformer, suggesting that these will be added at a later stage.
As reported by Reddit user Goldenboss6, the credits for Astro Bot specifically mentions a number of franchises and games that weren’t featured in the game in any capacity, leading many to believe that they will be added to the game in post-launch updates. From the screenshot taken of the credits for Astro Bot, the unused properties include Worms, Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, Assassin’s Creed and Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
The base game for Astro Bot already includes several properties from across PlayStation’s history, not limited to first-party games only, so it makes sense that some third-party games would also be included in the celebration of the company’s legacy – third-party games like this year’s Stellar Blade or Worms in decades prior that drew attention to the PlayStation platform.
As with all reports and leaks, take this with a pinch of salt until we get confirmation from Sony or developer Team Asobi. Some fans theorise that these franchises were included during the game’s development but for one reason or another, were pulled during the process and might not make it as post-launch additions.
