August PlayStation Plus Lineup Revealed For PS4 and PS5

Sony has announced the August PlayStation Plus lineup a few days ahead of its actual reveal. Usually, the lineup gets announced on the last Wednesday of the month, the week the games land. However, the company uploaded the announcement prematurely to the PlayStation website.

The August PlayStation Plus lineup includes the already-confirmed battle royale Hunter’s Arena: Legends for PS5, Tennis World Tour 2, and Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. At the moment, Hunter’s Arena: Legends is listed as a “PlayStation 5 bonus game”. By the sound of things, PS5 owners might actually get another game besides this free-to-play looking battle royale. But don’t get your hopes up just yet. The official site lists only these three games so perhaps we are stuck with them. If there is any change, expect to see it announced this week.
