The first concept art for Avengers: Doomsday, the upcoming MCU event movie from Marvel Studios, has leaked online revealing potential spoilers for major returning MCU characters, new characters and more. The art seemingly suggests that several MCU shows that aired on Disney Plus will also be integral to the plot in some way. Of course, this also gives us our first look at what Robert Downey Jr. might look like donning the new suit for Doctor Doom.
The concept art leak for Avengers: Doomsday comes from concept designer Mushk Rizvi, who posted a series of artworks potentially teasing some major spoilers for the movie. Rizvi has since taken down the concept art, though in true internet fashion, it’s already been circulated around the web. Before we proceed, take this as a spoiler warning as we’ll be discussing the contents of the leaked art.
We won’t be directly embedding the images here, though you can find the entire gallery on Reddit. The first image shows the design for Doctor Doom, who’s looking quite menacing sitting on a throne. Eagle-eyed fans spotted certain MCU characters in the images like Doctor Strange who stands beside Doctor Doom as an advisor of some sort, possibly hinting at an evil Strange. There’s also a medieval theme throughout the concept art, suggesting that Marvel Studios could be establishing Battleworld, leading into Secret Wars.
The other images show Peter Quill aka Starlord on the couch what who appears to be Vision, while another shows Bruce Banner’s Hulk and Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk wearing fitting attire for a medieval theme on a Hulk planet or timeline. The next leaked art shows the young Avengers teaming up and gathering around the table, while the last shows Black Panther. Some fans have theorised that the image isn’t actually of T’Challa (played by the late Chadwick Boseman) but his grandfather, T’Chanda. This could potentially be concept art for Black Panther 3.
Avengers: Doomsday releases on 1 May 2026.
