Baby Shark is The First YouTube Video To Hit 10 Billion Views

People are still listening to Baby Shark (doo doo do do do do – sorryboutit) in 2022. The popular kid’s video has now reached a milestone of 10 billion views on YouTube marking the first video on the platform to hit that stat.

Back in November 2020, Baby Shark was YouTube’s most-viewed video of all time and now, there’s no stopping it as it surpasses 10 billion views.

Baby Shark now sits above Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” on the YouTube most-watched list. Despacito is currently sitting on 7.7 billion views, quite far off from beating Baby Shark. In third, there’s “Johny Johny Yes Papa” by LooLoo Kids. I have never heard of that song before, to be honest. It is sitting at 6.10 billion.

Not only is Baby Shark a massive hit on YouTube but the video has spawned its own merchandise, Nickelodeon show, there’s a Baby Shark movie and even Baby Shark NFTs.

If you don’t have the song in your head by the time you reach his line of text, you can watch it down below.
