Babylon’s Fall, the upcoming live service RPG from Square Enix and PlatinumGames, has detailed most of its season 1 package. Players will get access to NieR Automata crossover content starting at the end of March, along with plenty of other content.
Babylon’s Fall‘s first season will include NieR Automata crossover content available on 29 March 2022 as a limited time event, though no details were provided about it. In addition to the NieR content, the Eternal Ziggurat Premium Battle Pass will be available for free to everyone during season 1.
The Eternal Ziggurat will run from between 25 February to 31 May, encompassing additional content such as the new game mode ‘Duels’ being added on 7 March. A ‘large-scale’ update will then arrive on 22 March, adding a new faction, new weapon type, the new ‘Gauntlet’ game mode, and a variety of new bosses, quests, weapons, armor and cosmetic items.
The additional story content ‘Resurgence’ will then arrive on 26 April with a limited time event and more bosses, quests, weapons, armor and cosmetic items too.
Babylon’s Fall is PlatinumGames’ attempt at a live service multiplayer RPG, featuring co-0p and PvP gameplay with a striking art style.
Players who dive into season 1 of Babylon’s Fall will get quite a decent amount of content in the coming months, adding several new modes, gear and quests to enjoy.
Ahead of the full game’s launch next week, a playable demo will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 tomorrow if you’re curious about trying out Babylon’s Fall. All progress made in the demo will then carry over to the full game once it releases.
Babylon’s Fall releases on 3 March 2022 for PS4, PS5 and PC.
