10 Best Baldur’s Gate 3 Mods on PS5 (So Far)
Below you’ll find a list of the 10 best Baldur’s Gate 3 mods available on PS5 following yesterday’s patch 7 update:
ImpUI (ImprovedUI) by therealdjmr: ImpUI does exactly it says and subtly improves the UI in the game to make digesting information on-screen a little easier. It’s also a requirement for other mods that rely on its scripting such as HairUnlocked, so it’s best to keep this in your library. Additionally, ImpUI also adds some small touch-ups to character creation too.
Adjustable Party Limit by pixellbytes: Adjustable Party Limit adds a spell into the game that lets you adjust the size of your party (from 1-16). If you’ve ever wanted to play with every single companion in your party, now you can. You also get to experience every unique dialogue, interaction, quest and reaction from them at once without having to replay the game multiple times.
HairUnlocked by shaneh31: This cosmetic mod adds 30 additional hair options to character creation – most of them taken from unique NPCs like Lae’zel, Shadowheart, Karlach, Astarion and even Orin and Gortash. Variety is everything.
FaerunColors by techroot: Ever felt like the dye options in Baldur’s Gate 3 were too limited? FaerunColors fixes that by adding several new dyes to the game, all themed around deities in Dungeons & Dragons. You can finally get that clean all-black look for your armour and clothing.
DoubleXP by reshiardus: A simple cheat mod that let’s you rack up experience points at twice the rate. It’s entirely possible to hit the level 12 cap before you even leave Act 1, meaning you’ll probably steamroll the rest of the game and live out your power fantasy.
Mystic Class by xhevo: This mod adds an entirely new psionics-based class to the game called the Mystic Class. It’s highly recommended that you also install xhevo’s Mystic Expansion for the full experience which adds more unique spells, abilities and options to the class.
Visible Shield by maximuuus: It didn’t make sense that shields wielded by Clerics and Paladins disappeared on your body outside of combat. The Visible Shield mod simply lets you see your shield on your character’s back, adding a bit more to the immersion.
Fireproof Karlach by belinn: Fireproof Karlach changes Karlach’s fire resistance to a complete fire immunity. After all, she’s literally coated in flames. Why wouldn’t she be completely immune to fire?
Origin Dialog Tags by katlix: Arguably one of the best mods on PS5, Origin Dialog Tags adds new, suitable dialogue options to Origin characters that better fits their personalities. You can finally play as a snarky Astarion or condescending Lae’zel without appearing out-of-character.
New Loading Screens by caites: New Loading Screens adds over 60 new images to the game’s loading screens, lifted from the game’s official artbook. They provide a nice aesthetic change to the same reused assets we’ve seen on loading screens before.
Kuo-Toa Playable Race by gonzalo-marcos: Last but certainly not least is the Kuo-Toa Playable Race mod. Yes, you actually get to play as the goofy fishmen race and it’s marvelous.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
