Larian Studios officially added mod support to Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5 via patch 7 back in October. Since then, there has been a healthy flow of new mods being added to the game every week. Enough time has passed since mods became available on consoles, so here’s 10 more great mods than you can install right now on PS5 to make your next playthrough a little more interesting.
In case you missed it, check out our other list of the 10 best Baldur’s Gate 3 mods that you can install on PS5. That list was made when mod support was added to the game in early October, so this list will cover a range of newer mods since then. We also won’t be repeating any mods from the previous list.
10 More Great Baldur’s Gate 3 Mods to Install on PS5
P4 Other NPC/Companion Heads for Tav by padme4000: Technically these are two separate mods but they both achieve the same thing. These mods add a wide selection of new faces for Tav during character creation, each taken from various NPCs and companions in the game. They’re all fully customisable too and most aren’t locked to race.
Origin Mirror Unlock by yoonmoonsick: With the Origin Mirror Unlock mod, you can now change the appearance of every companion in the game. Simply choose a companion in camp, go to the magical mirror and Bob’s your uncle. It’s worth noting that this mod also requires four other mods to be installed (all are available on PS5), so make sure you read the description and install the necessary assist mods.
PolyamoryFixes by modiouser2079694: Baldur’s Gate 3 only lets you romance one companion per playthrough. With the PolyamoryFixes mod, you’re now free to romance and cuddle as many companions as you like in a single campaign without restrictions. Naturally, the ending will still default to the companion with whom you have the highest affinity, so there’s no harem ending.
More Roleplay Options – Class + Race Deities by modiouser2082472: This is a simple mod that lets you choose a deity to worship during character creation, all lifted from the Dungeons & Dragons pantheon. This option is usually only available to Clerics but now you can pick a deity regardless of which class you choose. The mod also unlocks all available dialogue choices in the game for each deity.
More Beards by eleanorroos: The beard selection in Baldur’s Gate 3 is sadly a bit limited, so this double-pack mod adds a variety of new beards to the game’s character creation, ranging from slightly disheveled divorced dad to wizard who joined a biker gang. The more variety, the better.
Mind Weaver by zx10rx: Similar to the Mystic Class mod, the Mind Weaver is a new class focused on psionic abilities, wielding psychic weapons and manipulating the battlefield. It’s far more in-depth than the Mystic Class with a wider range of cool spells to use, most of which are original creations mixed with pre-existing spells from the game.
Blood Sorcery – A Sorcerer Subclass sturm1212: Between this mod and the similar Blood Mage, we highly recommend Blood Sorcery. This adds a new subclass to the Sorcerer focused on using blood-based abilities and spells. Almost every spell is an original creation using new VFX and animations. The Catch-22 is every blood spell you use inflicts damage on you in return. The modder off-set this by giving the Blood Sorcerer a very high health pool.
Vampire Origin by lord-president: The Vampire Origin mod adds a new origin to character creation where you start out as a vampire. It also integrates The Dark Urge storyline and features, which makes sense from a role-playing perspective. Additionally, it comes with all the perks of being a vampire. You get extra bite attacks and require a constant flow of blood to sustain yourself. You can even draw blood from companions – do this enough and they’ll become vampires too, because nothing is cooler than a squad of suckers (wait…).
Starting Armor (Enhanced) by cytotoxictce11: As the mod’s name implies, you’ll now get a range of starting armours to choose from during character creation. Unlike other similar mods, this one lifts the restrictions so you’re free to choose any and all available armours in the beginning, even a few rare sets found later in the game. However, it’s still limited to your class/race proficiencies, meaning you can technically strap heavy armour to a Wizard but it doesn’t mean they’ll get the benefits of wearing it.
Unholy Smite – Empowering Oathbreakers by graphicfade: Last but not least is Unholy Smite, a mod that simply makes the Oathbreaker Paladin a bit more tempting. It introduces a new attack called Unholy Smite, which works similarly to your standard Holy Smite only with some tweaks and adjustments. Broke your oath because you kicked a squirrel? Congratulations, you’re more powerful now.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
