Baldur’s Gate 3 is still making headlines after launching to some of the highest review scores of the year so far. Developer Larian Studios continues to roll out updates for the game, adding new content while tweaking gameplay and other story elements based on fan feedback. In the case of one companion, Minthara, it looks like more content might be coming to the game related to her character as voice actress Emma Gregory recently revealed that she was back in the studio.
Gregory, the actress behind Minthara in Baldur’s Gate 3, posted a tweet recently stating that she was back in the studio, potentially recording new lines. This, of course, led fans to speculate that Larian could be working on adding new Minthara content to the game.

Minthara is a character that you wouldn’t realise can become a permanent companion on your Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough, especially if you aren’t playing an evil character. Last month, Larian released a hotfix that more or less improved the Minthara romance by unlocking new dialogue options that were previously locked due to a bug. According to fans, not much has actually been “improved” with the companion since the update, though that might change soon if Gregory is potentially recording new lines for her character.

Her capitalisation of “Absolute” is a reference to Baldur’s Gate 3, with Pitstop being the recording studio where all voice performances were recorded for the game.
In related news, Larian Studios recently released patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate 3 that didn’t sit well with some players, especially around the shared stash feature. Larian quickly released a follow-up hotfix that fixed some of the issues brought up as a result of patch 3, though players still report potential quest-breaking bugs like the blacksmith Dammon mysteriously dying and breaking Karlach’s quest progression.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available for PS5 and PC. An Xbox Series X/S version is on its way later this year.
