Batman Arkham Games Reportedly Coming to Nintendo Switch

The Batman Arkham Collection from developer Rocksteady, which bundles Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight, is reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. A reliable French retailer leaked the news, confirming a release date of 31 August 2022.

French retailer WTT, who previously leaked The Witcher 3 coming to Switch, has revealed that the Batman Arkham Collection is finally coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console. The collection first released for consoles and PC in 2018, and fans have been patiently waiting for a Nintendo Switch port, which may finally be on its way.

The last game in the Arkham series to release on a Nintendo console was Arkham City, which released on the Wii U. This will mark the first time since then that one of Rocksteady’s games has released on the Nintendo platform, even if it’s a few years late.

Meanwhile, Rocksteady Games is working on their next title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It takes place in their Arkham universe but focuses on the anti-hero squad consisting of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot as they attempt to stop Brainiac’s plans for dominating and controlling the Justice League.

Recently, it was reported that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would be delayed into 2023, though Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady have yet to make an official announcement about it.

Warner Bros. Montreal is working on a Batman game as well in Gotham Knights, which is scheduled to release sometime in 2022. However, there’s no word yet if either of these upcoming games will come to Nintendo Switch in the future.

Batman Arkham Collection is currently available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it’s seemingly heading to Nintendo Switch in August. We recommend taking this with a pinch of salt for now until we have some confirmation.
