Battlefield 2042 Beta Codes Being Sent Out to Pre-Order Customers

Battlefield 2042 beta codes have been spotted in the wild. According to users who pre-ordered the game through Amazon, the company has begun emailing early access beta codes out ahead of the closed test. Unfortunately, this is not the good news you wanted to read because there is no Battlefield 2042 beta taking place this week.

Earlier this month, reports claimed that the closed test was originally meant to kick off on 22 September for pre-order customers and open up to all users on the 24th. Then Battlefield 2042 was delayed and it also pushed back the beta dates. EA has yet to announce these dates.

It is highly unlikely that EA Games will issue these Battlefield 2042 beta codes a day before the beta goes live. Keep in mind that the publisher hasn’t ever shared an exact date for this test either so chances of it kicking off tomorrow, out of the blue, are slim.

Users who got the code redeemed them on the EA Games website and the product confirmed it was for the Battlefield 2042 beta early access.

Battlefield 2042 Beta Codes

While EA has yet to announce the Battlefield 2042 beta dates, users suspect the playtest will go live on 6 October for pre-order customers and the 8th for the public. Given the game’s delay, perhaps wait and see what EA has planned before booking your time off of work.

Some users on the internet do claim to have received their beta codes back in August but it doesn’t change the fact that the beta isn’t happening this week and the majority of codes are only now being sent out.
