Battlefield 2042 won’t get new content until at least March 2022 according to a new datamine. This means DICE won’t be dropping any new weapons, maps, modes or other content until then.
According to dataminer Temporyal, when March 2022 arrives, players can look forward to a new map called Exposure and the release of the first season for Battlefield 2042. DICE does plan on offering weekly challenges for players up to March 2022 as they have been for the past few weeks.

This is probably not the news you were hoping for. New content releasing for Battlefield 2042 in March means we have another three months to wait before there is something new to do in the game. Battlefield 2042 is already lacking excitement and a month after launch, its maps and modes already feel dated. Not to mention its limited weapon and vehicle roster grows tired very quickly.
The #Battlefield2042 client includes weekly missions for 12 preseason weeks.
🗓️ Season 1 seems to be scheduled for March 2022 (unless they’ve added a few weeks as “backup”).
🇨🇦 “Exposure” is probably the final name for the previously datamined “Ridge” map.

Keep in mind that even though this data seems to be accurate and come from a reliable source, it might change and we could see a seasonal drop before March. However, don’t get your hopes up just yet.
